some mould inside the ham

5 days after I started cutting my ham I found some mould on meat.
Is this bad? Does that mean it wasn't in good condition when it came or did I do something wrong?

It can get a little mold on it like any kind of food depending on the atmosphere. Just clean it off with a dry paper towel and you can go on slicing. You must have left it a few days without cutting, right?

Yes I was away on holiday for a week and found the disgusting stuff when I came back. I'll clean it tonight and try it. Anyway, my husband turned it over and we started from the other side.

I've only seen mold when I've had the ham open several days in summer. In winter never. You just clean it off with a cloth and everything's ok
